"All Black Cartridges" provide formulated black dye for each slot of a supported model. Since slots are chipped and keyed this can't be accomplished with an off-the-shelf-system but Freehand has made this great feature possible. When making film positives you only need black ink in cartridges - color carts are a waste. Because AccuRIP is the only software designed to communicate to ALL slots - when you purchase "All Black Cartridges", simply turn on the Multi-black option in the AccuRIP Setup window to dedicate your inkjet to making clean and sharp film positives using every slot!

First time purchasers should tell their distributor they need the corresponding Chip Resetter. It's a one time purchase and a great tool for busy companies.

Volume of black ink is the obvious benefit. “All Black Cartridges" also help with the maintenance of your inkjet. How? Inkjets work best when all nozzles are in use to prevent clogs. When unnecessary color carts sit idle they can clog your device and it will stop working (Epson has designed the hardware to stop printing when carts fail or are empty).
