Q: How do I determine if I need a liftgate for my printer?

A: Many of the printers we sell are large and very heavy (from 150 lbs. to 800 lbs). Due to their weight and size, most of our printers need to be shipped by Freight truck. The floor of the truck is high off of the ground (approx. 4-5'), so the liftgate lifts the printer off the truck and places it on the ground

Some Freight trucks have a built in Liftgate, but many do not. We need to know if you require a liftgate so we can specify a truck that has that capability. 

If the shipping address you specify is a business that has either a loading dock or a forklift, then you don't need a liftgate.
